Dollars That Make a Difference - Dollars Per Mile Fundraiser
Snap Fitness Madison will be hosting a fundraiser for The Global Autism Project. The Global Autism Project is a non-profit organization that trains staff at Autism Centers around the world. Their organization is dedicated to promoting the acceptance and integration of indiviuals with Autism, by training communities around the world in culturally relevant, quality practices.
There are 70 million people with Autism in the world and 85% of them live in developing countries. Geneva Alumni, Lauren Watts will be volunteering as a Behavior Tutor to help children abroad with Autism in Nicaragua. Her goal is to raise $5,000 to fund the project trip.
Dollars That Make a Difference - Dollars Per Mile will support this cause. 100% of donations go directly to the cause. Participants get sponsors to donate a specific amount of money for each mile completed. Participants must sign-up at the Club before the event day. Participants will need to reserve their machine of choice and time slot. This event is open to members and non-members (14 years of age and above).
