Hog Butchering Class / Weekend
Spend the weekend at The Lakehouse Inn and learn the basic techniques for butchering a hog! The class will take place Saturday at Na*Kyrsie Meats and be led by Chef Nate from Crosswinds Grille at The Lakehouse Inn & Na*Kyrsie Meats. In addition to learning basic techniques for butchering, attendees will learn the art of seam butchery, how to maximize the use of the animal and will gain knowledge on the different cuts of meat and how to purchase and prepare them. This package includes lodging for two nights, a full breakfast each morning, an Ohio cheese & charcuterie board upon arrival, a full day butchering course on Saturday, light lunch on Saturday and a three course dinner Saturday evening at Crosswinds Grille featuring select cuts from the hog that you will butcher in class. In addition, each guest will receive bacon & sausage to take home.
