Painesville Depot 125th Birthday Party
Please join us in celebrating The Painesville Depot 125th Birthday on August 4, 2018 form 10 am to 5 pm. Enjoy a free piece of Birthday Cake and Ice Cream, one serving per person, while supplies last. Hamburgers and Hot Dog with soft drinks will also be available for a small donation. See all of the restoration that has been taking place to bring the depot back to its glory days. Enjoy dancing and listening to live music. We will have face/hand painting for the children. Play horse shoes or Croquet. We will have many great items for a Chinese Auction and 50/50 raffle. Lean the history of Painesville Depot. The Painesville Depot was built in 1893 for the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railroad (LS&MS). The LS&MS railroad merged with the New York Central Railroad in 1914. The Station severed as a passenger station until 1971. The Depot is now the home of the Painesville Railroad Museum, a 501c3 non-profit.
