Performance Measurement for Nonprofit Organizations
If you lead or work for a nonprofit organization, do you know the difference between your organization's outputs and outcomes? Do you measure both? Do you know the impact daily activities have on the results your mission statement says you strive to achieve? Is performance-measurement data used to manage your organization? Are performance measures used to apply for or retain grant funding?
In this workshop you will learn the fundamentals of how to develop practical, inexpensive ways of identifying, collecting, and interpreting performance-measurement evidence to assess program effectiveness. You will also learn how to develop a management framework based on a continuous process of performance measurement. Such a framework is founded on an organization's commitment to examine continuously the things it is doing, why it is doing them, and whether or not they are working.
This workshop is facilitated by William Blanchard, who has over 30 years of experience in the teaching and application of data-informed decision support methods. Bill is the Principal of Blanchard Consulting Services. Details of his consulting interests and professional experience are available on LinkedIn .
