Learn to put the power of QuickBooks to work for your business. This hands-on, instructor-led in person training for Online QuickBooks for Beginners will show you how to unlock the power of QuickBooks, and take direct control of your business finances. By the completion of this class, you will have a clear understanding of how to setup and manage your company finances on a day to day basis, as well as access basic financial information you need to help you become successful in operating your business.

• Introduction
• QuickBooks Online benefits & features
• QuickBooks Online subscriptions – review various subscriptions and fees
• Setup a Company File – setting up new company file and updating from QB Desktop
• Overview of User interface – review menus and navigating throughout QBO
• Customizing your Company File – setting preferences, adding users
• Chart of Accounts – standard COA and customizing for your business
• Classes & Locations – brief overview
• Accounts Receivable & Customers – products & services, customers, sales receipts, invoices, payments, credit memos, refunds, statements
• Accounts Payable & Vendors – vendors, purchase orders, entering bills, paying bills
• Journal Entries – basic overview covering debits & credits
• Banking Downloads – connecting banks, adding & matching transactions
• Reconciling accounts – basic overview of reconciliations
• Reporting – review basic reports, balance sheet, profit & loss, custom reports
• Payroll – Basic overview of payroll setup & settings
• Q&A with QuickBooks Pro-Advisor

This class is for those using the online versions of QuickBooks. This class is not for those who use QuickBooks Enterprise. Attendees are required to bring their own laptop to access QuickBooks Online Sample Company for training. You don't need to have a subscription to QuickBooks.
