Maple Health DPC is a patient-centered Direct Primary Care practice focused on delivering personalized, accessible, and high-quality healthcare. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and highly organized Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant will play a key role in both clinical and administrative operations. This position requires an individual who is comfortable performing clinical duties such as blood draws and patient care while also supporting front-office functions including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification (required)
  • Experience preferred but not required
  • Proficient in venipuncture and specimen collection
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a steady-paced healthcare environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Perform venipuncture and blood draws accurately and safely
  • Obtain and document vital signs and EKG's when needed
  • Prepare and room patients for provider visits
  • Assist providers with examinations and procedures
  • Administer injections and medications as permitted by state regulations
  • Process laboratory specimens
  • Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies
  • Follow infection control and OSHA guidelines

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
  • Check patients in and out
  • Verify patient information and update records
  • Manage patient messages and communicate with providers as needed
  • Handle basic office correspondence and administrative tasks
  • Assist with patient faxes
