From Rt. 20/Mentor Avenue, turn north on Newell Street. Cross Jackson Street and train tracks. Freedom Rd. is the first road on left after the tracks. Entrance is the first driveway on the left.
About Us
Project Hope for the Homeless is the only emergency homeless shelter in Lake County, Ohio. We provide up to 50 beds per night and offer five programs consisting of our Adult Shelter for single adults, Families Moving Forward for parents with children in a separate wing, Hope House - our senior care offsite program, our Aftercare program that provides assistance and support after leaving the care of the shelter, and our Welcome Home program that provides eligible guests who are transitioning to their own home with up to $500 worth of household goods and small furniture not available to them by other means for their new home.
Guests receive basic needs, food & care, programming and goal-setting, along with referrals to supportive services agencies for up to 45 nights while staying at the shelter.
